Usage and Application

R455A refrigerant is an environmentally friendly HFO-based mixture with a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential). It belongs to the safe A2L class and was specifically developed as an alternative to R404A and R134a. Thanks to its high energy efficiency and ecological benefits, R455A is gaining increasing importance.

Important note on authorization to handle refrigerants:

-          Original sealed refrigerant cylinders.

-          Cylinder design and color may naturally vary, as they are reusable cylinders in an exchange system.

Return of the deposit cylinder:

Cylinders purchased from us after February 28, 2024, can be returned for refilling in accordance with Art. 11 Para. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573, using the enclosed return slip. If a return slip is not (no longer) available, you can request a new one via the contact form.

Law on handling refrigerants:

Sale exclusively to holders of a certificate according to Art. 10 Para. 1 Subpara. 1 lit. a of Regulation (EU) 573/2024 or representatives of companies that employ such holders or holders of a training certificate according to Art. 10 Para. 1 Subpara. 2 of the Regulation. The purchase of the goods must be for the installation, maintenance or servicing or repair of equipment according to Art. 5 Para. 2 and 3 lit. a and b and Art. 10 Para. 1 Subpara. 2, which contain the goods or require them for their functioning.
