R452A is an HFO/HFC mixture (R-32, R-125 and R-1234yf) and was developed as a refrigerant.

Areas of application:

• Transport refrigeration: In truck, trailer and container cooling systems as an alternative to R404A with a lower GWP (Global Warming Potential).

• Commercial refrigeration: medium and low temperature refrigerated display cases, storage chests, cold rooms.

• Industrial applications: In some low-temperature applications as a replacement for R404A.

• Not for air conditioning systems! → R452A was primarily developed for refrigeration technology , not for comfort air conditioning systems.

Advantages:

• Similar performance to R404A

• Significantly lower GWP (~2140, less than half that of R404A)

• Can be used in existing R404A systems as a "drop-in" or retrofit.

Important information regarding the authorization to handle refrigerants:

- Original sealed refrigerant bottles.

- Bottle design and color may vary, of course, because they are reusable bottles in an exchange system.

• The cylinder is included in the price.

Return of the deposit bottle:

Containers purchased from us after February 28, 2024, can be returned for refilling in accordance with Article 11(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 using the enclosed return label. If a return label is no longer available, you can request a new one via the contact form.

Sales are exclusively to holders of a certificate pursuant to Article 10(1), first subparagraph, point (a) of Regulation (EU) 573/2024 or representatives of companies employing such holders or holders of a training certificate pursuant to Article 10(1), second subparagraph, of the Regulation. The purchase of the goods must be for the installation, maintenance, servicing, or repair of equipment pursuant to Article 5(2) and (3), points (a) and (b), and Article 10(1), second subparagraph, which contains the goods or requires them for its functioning.
